Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Peru, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Peru showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps from Google achieved a peak in weekly downloads in late July, reaching approximately 19.5K. The app's downloads experienced fluctuations throughout the quarter, with a notable increase in the latter part of July, followed by a gradual decline. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at around 696K and increasing to a high of 746K in late July before stabilizing towards the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, developed by Waze Inc., maintained a stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 2.5K to 3.5K. Active users of the app remained consistently engaged, with weekly figures fluctuating between 225K and 239K, peaking in early September.

Google Earth also from Google, saw steady weekly downloads, maintaining just under 1K throughout the quarter. Its active user base showed a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, rising from approximately 6K at the start to about 6.7K by mid-September.

The app 3555555 satelital experienced a notable surge in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at over 1.4K in late August. However, there is no available data on its active users during this period.

Lastly, GPS Camera with Time Stamp saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 224 and dropping to a low of 56 by mid-September. Despite this, active users increased steadily, reaching over 1K in late August before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
